Mongolia Reindeer Expedition 2026!

 

Dates: 12 Days from Feb 28 - March 11 (Flying in to Ulaanbatar Saturday the 28th and Flying out on Wednesday the 11th) There will be space for 12 people + me

 

Price: $2,200USD 

 

Here are the steps to confirm a spot on this trip:

 

1 - Finish the application

2 - If you are a good candidate, I will reach out to have a short call for a vibe check and to ask any other last questions

3 - After our call, pay the $500 Deposit, and your spot will be confirmed

Open now until January 5th. As soon as applications start rolling in, I’m going to start filling spots.

 

Open to all ages 18+, if you think you would be a good addition to the group. I will be curating the applications very carefully.

 

This region is very difficult to get to, and for a proper trip, it would be very rushed to go in less than 12 days. I understand some with full-time jobs may not be able to get this much time off, so I’m planning some other trips later in 2026 that are shorter, for about 1 week instead (Potentially in July).

 

The great news:

 

The local guide has organized it so we will sleep at the reindeer camp for 2 nights in teepees they will build just for us! (Something I did not get to do before, and I believe no foreigners have ever done) 

 

Many will also be able to ride reindeer (if you are light enough), for the 5-hour ride to reach the winter reindeer camp. For reference, I still got to ride for a short time at the camp even though I was slightly too heavy lol(abt 185lbs)

 

Warning: This will not be like any other creator group trip to find sea turtles in Costa Rica. This is an expedition to one of the most remote areas on the planet. This will be an **Attempt** to reach the herders. Mongolian weather is sometimes unpredictable. If we can not go the full distance because of the weather, I have many good backup plans - (see the video below for more of an explanation)

Included in the trip

• Airport transfer to and from Chinggis Khan International Airport

• All Accommodation (Shared rooms)

• All Transportation Logistics

• Horse sledding at the winter Ice festival

• Riding Reindeer with the nomadic herders(weather permitting) 

• All Meals (potentially no group meals the first day, but the cost will be covered)

 

Not included in the trip

• Flights to Mongolia 

• Travel Insurance that covers Mongolia(Required)

• Snacks/alcohol

• Mongolia VISA if necessary
